Selector is an orbital machine in Stanislaw Lem's Novel Fiasco.

Physical Properties

It is a giant parabolic optical mirror that reflects the sunlight.

Purpose

It reflects to sunlight to beam it on the surface. To thevopenpit mining areas on the surface of Titan.

Havaries

Gets dislogded from orbit by other objects gravity and shines light elsewhere.
